I last updated this in May – I would apologise but nobody genuinely seems to have given a shit.
Since I was on here last I have been to the Edinburgh Comedy Festival. I do like the festival but this thing is way too long. It should be two weeks long. There’s only so much time that you can spend listening to comedians talking about their shows and pretending that you are genuinely happy for their success. There is some joy when you come across terrible reviews of other shows but those moments are too infrequent.
I was living with Matt Forde and Lloyd Griffith in Edinburgh. These gentlemen are extreme alpha males. Ball scratching, farting, windmilling alphas. But they were good company, and we enjoyed lunch together on some of the days. Of course, I did have to listen to them talk enthusiastically about other people’s shows, but I cannot blame them for not being as negative as me. I can only hope that they develop my cynicism.

I hope I’ll see somebody at one of them. It can be worrying putting these dates on. If they don’t sell any tickets, then next thing you know I have cleared some dates to gig exclusively to three friends that I managed to convince that it would be a sell out. It’s demoralising and can also lead to problems in the bedroom as a result of diminished self esteem. Think about it.
I will be updating this regularly with gig dates, as well as sending out info through the mailing list. There will be free tickets and shit. I promise. My mum has had a massive go at me about not keeping this up to date. I also have news to share in the next few weeks through the mailing list and on here.
