Hello people,
I hope that you had a great Christmas and New Year. Mine was difficult, as my father passed away in early December. It was a complete shock, and as I am sure you can appreciate, dampened the Christmas spirit somewhat.
It did, however, mean that we saw all of our family from all over the world, and my Mum looked after an “open house”. She wasn’t allowed to cook, as is the tradition, and so the house was full of food that people had brought round. It was mainly vegetarian and so my brother went on regular trips to KFC and the kebab shop in order to keep his spirits up.
The street was filled with visitors to our house. I did become nervous that, with the entire Sri Lankan community of the South East at our house, that someone would call immigration to inform them of the bust of the century. I should point out at this stage that over half of the visitors to our house during this time are in this country legally.
The gig list is updated and the Seann tour dates start again later this month so that will be fun. I’m also doing the Channel 4 Comedy Showcase at The Comedy Store on 23rd January which is a quality line up, so that would be a good one to come to.
