I have been listening to all of this Clarkson furore. I am completely in support of the strikes, and think that Clarkson is certainly a toolbar.
However I have to say that the response to his joke on The One Show is an overreaction to say the least. He was joking, there is no way that he meant that, and it was obvious he was playing up to his role as “Mr. Controversy”. To respond in the manner that Unison have only serves to make a hero of the man for the opposition.
In other news, I thought it would be funny to pay a woman to play a racist character on a tram in Croydon. I think it backfired. She’s been arrested, and I have had to deny all knowledge. I’m going to do another one on a train in Brighton, so look out for it.
