I hope that you are all well. It has occurred to me that I am a sucker for marketing. The battle of the Kit Kat Chunky has consumed me over the last few weeks. Anybody reading this must have made the obvious choice of Peanut Butter. I say obvious, but you can’t find these buggers anywhere. It’s all Double Choc and Choc Orange. Much in the same vein as is sometimes seen in dictator states, this is some sort of sabotage. I have not been able to find them for at least two weeks now, which means that these other bastard flavour will have had more time to amass votes. I bought a Double Choc yesterday and it tasted like the Apocalypse. As for the White Choc, well I have never seen such an obvious undercover campaign by the EDL in all my life.
I was recently enjoying a Peanut Butter Kit Kat on the train. I say recently, but you will know that this had to have been more than two weeks ago, BECAUSE ALL OF THE PEANUT BUTTER KIT KAT CHUNKY BARS HAVE GONE MISSING YOU PRICKS. Behind me sat a drunk man and his girlfriend. They were listening to Death Metal or something and were singing it at the top of their voices, ruining any conversations anyone else on the train were having. I was so desperately annoyed by this, and incensed by everyone else’s failure to act, that I immediately sent a series of texts about the situation to my wife, before scowling silently to myself. I must have been a little tipsy, because when they left the train, I sighed quite loudly so that the other passengers could hear. NUTCASE!!
We are trying to potty train our two year old. This seems to consist mainly of showing him the potty and then congratulating loudly and applauding every time he looks like/talks about/suggests that he might take a poo in there.
I am not sure what kind of life lesson this is. Surely he is going to expect applause every time he goes to the toilet. How is this preparing him for the secrecy and cloak and dagger of the cubicle sneak, the drop cough and the courtesy flush? These are all techniques I intend to equip him with over the next few weeks.
